Are You Lying to Yourself?

When we act like everything in our life is perfect, especially to our friends, we're not just putting up a front for them. We're also telling ourselves that we're not good enough as we are. If we really felt good about ourselves, we'd be okay with sharing our true selves, including our weaknesses and mistakes. But often, we feel we're not good enough, so we try to show a better version of ourselves. This can actually make us feel worse about ourselves.

Coffee is Life

"Life is like coffee. The jobs, money and position in society are the cups. They are just tools to hold and contain Life, and the type of cup we have does not define, nor change the quality of Life we live. While you pursue the fine cups, be sure to keep focus on enjoying the coffee!" ...  A beautiful and warm story about life and work balance. That may help in the journey of those starting as a remote worker in their chosen fields. Please read ahead and I hope you'll find light as you finish this wonderful story.  A group of alumni, highly established in their careers, got together to visit their old university professor. Conversation soon turned into complaints about stress in work and life.   Offering his guests coffee, the professor went to the kitchen and returned with a large pot of coffee and an assortment of cups - porcelain, plastic, glass, crystal, some plain looking, some expensive, some exquisite -- telling them to help themselves with the coffee.  W...

A White Feather for Today

As leaders, we're often taught to move forward, make decisions, close chapters -- quickly, cleanly, efficiently.  But the truth is, some goodbyes stays with us.  Not because they were dramatic. But because they were meaningful.  There's a quiet kind of pain that comes with letting go of something -- or someone -- that mattered.  A partnership that didn't last. A door that closed. A season that ended.  Today, a white feather found its way to me.  Not as an answer, but as a symbol.  A reminder that peace can follow even the hardest partings.  In leadership and in life, we carry both:  - The weight of decisions made - And the grace of honoring what they meant.  Let's remember:  Letting go doesn't mean it didn't matter. It means we're making room for what comes next -- with clarity, wisdom, and heart.

Heaven's Grocery Store

I was walking down life's highway a long time ago.  One day I saw a sign that read Heaven's Grocery Store .  As I got a little closer, the door came open wide,  And when I came to myself, I was standing inside.   I saw a host of angels; they were standing everywhere.  And one angel said, "My child shop with care."   Everything a Christian needed was in that grocery store.  And all you couldn't carry you could come back the next day for more.   First, I got some patience, love was in the same row.  Further down was understanding, you need that everywhere you go.  I got a box or two of wisdom, a bag or two of faith.  I just couldn't miss the Holy Spirit for He was all over the place.   I stopped to get some strength and courage to help me run the race.  By then my basket was getting full, but I remembered I needed some grace.  I didn't forget salvation, for salvation that was free.  So, I tried to get enough...
