Standing with the Philippines: Our Hearts Go Out to the Victims of Super Typhoon UWAN

The recent passage of Super Typhoon UWAN (known internationally as Fung-Wong) has left a devastating trail across the Philippines, particularly impacting communities still recovering from earlier storms. Cancel Culture

What is CANCEL CULTURE

Definition:
1. Refers to the practice of withdrawing support for (canceling) public figures and companies after they have said or done something considered as objectionable or offensive. Cancel Cukture is generally discussed as being performed on social media in the form of group shaming

2. Cancel Culture is the practice of publicly rejecting and ending support for people or groups based on their views or actions.

Hate is a virus ...
it's contagious ...
it is worse than any kind of pandemic ...

Hate can kill people ...
hate can easily take down a company ... even the billion-dollar ones
hate is the end of humanity ...

But why is that we even entertain "HATE" in our lives? ... even if we know most of its repercussions leads to destruction.

Maybe we can have a better understanding of "HATE" when we know what fuels it ... where its leading to.

Maybe a long time ago, watching Disney on a plain black and white television doesn't make the cut to give full meaning to what you're watching. You just hated back then seeing Mickey Mouse in plain black inks. In this view, hate has brought light to colors ... people now enjoy Disney cartoons in full colors and animations. Surely, hate did something good in here.

But what about in the CANCEL CULTURE? ...

Cancel Culture is now the talk of the town in Korea ... where a couple of K-Idols are already being dismissed because of this phenomenon.

It is a sad culture indeed.

Cancel Culture doesn't only happen in Korea. It happens around the world. It was a wildfire ... taking down life .... career ... dreams. We all know it's happening; we may have (at some point) fuel this kind of culture. Because we romanticize everything!

Yes, we romanticize everything ... The sad thing about it is that ... not all of it are sweet!!! (mind you)

Oh! what now? .... I heard you say ... "I hate this culture!" ...
well Dear ... this is the kind of "culture" we should totally be abolishing! forgetting! and must totally burn to the ground of never heard of!!!

We should learn to disarm Cancel Culture!

I understand that we have different views and opinions ... I get it ... but it should not (not at all cost!) be at fault in the fall of someone or closure of a company in where people working there are at stake,

I hope someday, people will learn to do the KKK method  ... Kiss-KICK-Kiss

By what it's worth,
go rant on the internet ... flag all your emotions until you get viral
and maybe in that process ... hopefully, you'll achieve what you're aiming for in the first place

But when you rant ... can you please apply the KKK method

Criticisms are good ... in a way that it leads to making people you wish to address your message will get what you mean ... in a good way. Nothing the bad and the good ... because in all honesty, there is really something good, before it even got bad.

Let's be not warriors of what we don't understand ...
Don't hop in on a bandwagon you don't know where its heading ...
and please ... think before you tag everything bad

+ + +

Thank you for your time.

MOVIE: The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel

Movie about British pensioners who moved to a retirement home in India where they got a new lease of life.  Here's some quotes from The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel the movie.  in India, we have a saying...  "Everything will be alright in the end. So if it's not all right, then it is not yet the end." ~ Sonny  _*-*_*-*_ I love this quote from when their friend died ... and it was his last request to die in India in the presence of his one true love.  "Is it our friend we are grieving for,  whose life we knew so little or is it our own loss that we are mourning?  Have we travelled far enough that we can allow our tears to fall?"  ~Evelyn  "When someone dies, you think about your own life" ~Madge  _*-*_*-*_ about living in India  "The way people see life as a privilege and not as a right"  ~The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel _*-*_*-*_ Above all, I love the ending line of Evelyn as the movie comes to a conclusion  "The only real f...

Umbrellas and Noodles

There was once an old lady who cried all the time. Her elder daughter was married to an umbrella merchant while the younger daughter was the wife of a noodle vendor. On sunny days, she worried, "Oh no! The weather is so nice and sunny. No one is going to buy any umbrellas. What will happen if the shop has to be closed?" These worries made her sad. She just could not help but cry. When it rained, she would cry for the younger daughter. She thought,  "Oh no! My younger daughter is married to a noodle vendor. You cannot dry noodles without the sun. Now there will be no noodles to sell. What should we do?"  As a result, the old lady lived in sorrow everyday. Whether sunny or rainy, she grieved for one of her daughters. Her neighbors could not console her and jokingly called her "the crying lady." One day, she met a monk. He was very curious as to why she was always crying. She explained the problem to him. The monk smiled kindly and said, "Madam! You need...
